FECAVA Journal 'fully online'
EJCAP online available to FECAVA members

The Federation of European Companion Animal Veterinary Associations (FECAVA) has announced that its official European Journal of Companion Animal Practitioners (EJCAP) has gone “fully online” and is exclusively available to FECAVA members. Members of organisations which are themselves members of FECAVA, such as the British Small Animals Veterinary Association (BSAVA), are also automatically members of FECAVA as well on strength of this connection.

The publication is currently available in both English and Spanish, and plans exist to introduce more languages at a future date. All articles will be available for download via PDF format and features of the new EJCAP online will include conference presentations, expert interviews, endoscopy and ultrasound recordings, information on surgical and diagnostic techniques and videos which include clinical presentations.

Commenting, FECAVA President Simon Orr said "Since the momentous decision to publish EJCAP online was taken by our council in Lille in 2009, we are delighted to offer our members this new and engaging way to gain new information and skills...As we start work on the next issues, we invite all our readers to give us feedback on this first volume of EJCAP online. On the last spread there is a link to a survey on this new format, to help us further improve and optimise EJCAP online."

The registration page for EJCAP online can be found here and more information can be found at the FECAVA's new website.
