Sharing Dog Walking Routes
TrailZilla, the new free route planning and sharing website, offers users a simple platform to plan, upload and share routes on Google maps.
The people behind the website say that it is an ideal tool for dog walkers, as routes can be saved as ‘dog friendly’ and annotated, allowing users to put commentary or rights of access for all to see. Once saved, other users can also comment on the routes allowing community feedback.
The site is free using Google base maps. TrailZilla users can also subscribe to ‘premium content’ which includes Ordnance Survey® and other topographic mapping.
