Cheeky Monkey!
The rhesus monkey has evaded capture for a year.
The monkey’s origins are unknown, although one theory is that it may have been part of a troop of wild monkeys kept in a state park about 120 miles away from its current location.
The monkey has become an unlikely hero in the neighbourhood and has captivated many with its habit of looking both ways before crossing a road and its love of spending time by resident’s swimming pools.
Although attempts to apprehend the monkey have taken place over the last year, it has so far managed to evade capture.
