VMG announces 2027 congress theme
The VMG Congress takes place 21-23 April 2027 at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Stratford-Upon-Avon.

The event will explore pressing challenges facing veterinary leaders.

The Veterinary Management Group (VMG) has announced the theme of its upcoming congress: Real Leaders. Shared Solutions.

Combining fresh thinking with practical ideas, the event will explore the pressing challenges facing veterinary leaders today — ranging from having difficult conversations and implementing CMA recommendations to the use of AI in clinical practice.

The programme will also cover sustainable performance, wellbeing, psychological safety, multi-site leadership, financial confidence, and decision-making under pressure.

This year’s keynote speech will be delivered by Claire Johnson of Shrine London, the only female performance coach in motorsport industry to hold an active racing licence. In her address, Think Like an F1 Driver, Claire will share insights from high-stakes motorsport environments and explore the disciplines that help elite performers make better decisions under pressure.

Returning for its second year, the participant-led ShareSPACE Live forum gives delegates the opportunity to identify issues of mutual interest, share experiences and collaborate on practical solutions and follow-up actions.

VMG junior vice president, Andrew Whitfield-Roberts RVN, said: “Our Congress in 2027 will build on the momentum we created this year, bringing our community together once again to learn, share and grow.

“We’re very excited about our 2027 speaker line-up, which brings together an inspiring and diverse mix of veterinary and non-veterinary voices, offering fresh perspectives, practical insights and new ways of thinking.

“Above all, Congress 2027 is about our community: creating meaningful connections, supporting one another and sharing solutions that can make a real difference to the people, teams and organisations we lead. We can’t wait to welcome everyone and continue the conversation.”

The congress takes place 21-23 April 2027 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Stratford-Upon-Avon. To view the full programme, visit at vetmg.com/vmg-congress-programme
