Vets asked to trial new special import certificate service
Veterinary surgeons with live applications are asked to trial the service.
Surgeons with live applications needed to test pilot service.

The Veterinary Medicines Directorate (VMD) has called for veterinary surgeons with live applications to register to trial a pilot special import certificate service.

The new application page has updated navigation and accessibility, and will enable users to view applications and certificates issued to themselves and others associated with their practice account.

Veterinary surgeons can register using their RCVS credentials to associate with a registered veterinary practice premise and create an account administrator.

Users who are unable to find the product needed, are seeking a Wholesale Dealer Certificate or Research Import Certificate, or do not wish to trial the new service can continue to use the old service.

Those wishing to partake in the pilot can do so here, or get more information by contacting VMD at importcert@vmd.gov.uk.
