Vets invited to join RCVS Fellowship panel
The RCVS is seeking veterinary surgeons to join its Fellowship Credentials Panel.
The RCVS is seeking experienced veterinary professionals to join its Fellowship Credentials Panel.
Fellowship Credentials Panellists critically review and score applications to the RCVS Fellowship - membership of which is awarded in recognition of outstanding contributions to the veterinary profession.
Angharad Belcher, director for the advancement of the professions, commented: “Being part of our Fellowship Credentials Panel is a great opportunity to see the huge amount of dedication to the profession that prospective Fellows have shown throughout their careers, and to then celebrate their achievements when they are successfully welcomed to the Fellowship later in the year”.
Vets interested in joining the Fellowship Credentials Panel can apply by emailing Ceri Chick, senior leadership officer at c.chick@rcvs.org.uk, with a completed application form and CV. The form should be returned to Ceri by 5 pm on 28 February 2022.
Panel members will also have the opportunity to claim expenses for time spent assessing applications.
Veterinary practices are being urged to help owners safely dispose of any unused and expired pet medicines - not just antibiotics - during November's Animal Medicines Amnesty.
