RCVS extends registration policy for European vet schools

The temporary policy was established in June 2019.
The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Council has voted to extend the College's temporary registration arrangements with European veterinary schools for a further year.
At an RCVS Council meeting on Thursday 20 January, Council members voted to extend the policy, which allows veterinary graduates from school accredited or approved by the European Association of Establishments of Veterinary Education (EAEVE) to join the RCVS Register without taking the Statutory Membership Examination.
The decision will be reviewed again at the Council's January 2023 meeting.

Two independent vets have launched a podcast to help owners strengthen their bond with pets. Dr Maggie Roberts and Dr Vanessa Howie, who have worked in both veterinary practice and major charities, are keen to use their experience to enable people to give pets a better life.
